This example of the Superbird has been restored to its factory correct colour of Tor-Red or HEMI orange as it’s known to the Dodge folks, with a black vinyl roof and black vinyl interior. If there were such a thing as a subtle Superbird, this car with its transverse stripe delete option would have to be it! What truly makes this Superbird special is the factory equipped, numbers matching 426 HEMI engine; making this 1 of the only 135 produced. Also equipped with power steering, power disc brakes and an automatic transmission, this HEMI ‘Bird is a great driving example of a legend, one that would be equally at home on display as part of a large collection or rolling down the roads, turning the heads of enthusiast young and old. Whether it’s recognized as “The King” of racing or as a muscle car, it can't helped but be noticed.
