This is an original Californian Black Plate car. A buick Electra 225. It has the 401 nailhead V8 with 325 horsepowers and the three speed Super Turbine 400 automatic transmission.. The car is in pristine condition inside.
All electronic works. It is a very straight car. The tires are in excellent condition 235/70/15. This car has an air climate that still works fantastic. As far as we know it is still the original paint so a few dents and scratches but still ok.
Power steering and power brakes are working perfect. In 1965 the Electra received a major restyling in 1965 dominated by flowing "Cokebottle" lines. Along with the new body came a new chassis with a full perimeter frame including side rails that replaced the previous "X" frame used since 1961.
