Wonderful original, one repaint, low mile car. This classic sedan shows only 38k miles and is stunning in its originality both inside and out. This car has the original 236c.i. flathead six that produces 109hp and 192lbs of torque at 1200rpms. The transmission is the 4 speed Fluid Drive that works great!
The body is in excellent condition with no signs of rust or accidents. The last repaint was approximately 25 years ago. It is still presentable, but is beginning to show its age. The chrome is in overall excellent shape. The bumpers do need to be rechromed. The massive waterfall grill, the taillights, all of the stainless is in excellent condition.
The interior is very impressive. All of the upholstery, door panels, headliner and rear carpet is original to the car and looks great after 63 years. The front rubber floor mat does need to be replaced. The dash is truly amazing. The gauges and Speedo look like they were installed yesterday. The huge vertical radio, the heater controls and everything else look as though it should be in an art gallery.
