1989 Ford F150
This was my project truck that has about 75% new parts (STILL IN BOXES), converting it from a manual to an automatc with options. I am far too busy working on my house, turned into a remodel job and I do not want the truck to just sit when someone with mechanical skills (basic) could finish it and have a GREAT TRUCK.
I bought the truck, A 1989 F-150XL 4x4, tone, it says F-150 on the emblem but I was told last night it is a 250. It has a 302 OR 305 in it. My mechanic friend who I trust completely got it off of a salvaged vehicle, why; the guy who owned it asked one week for the C6 tranny to be completely rebuilt (about 100 miles on it) , done. Next week the motor to be completely rebuilt (about 100 miles on it), done. 2 weeks the guy totals the body.
The chassis is a 1988, he put a 1989 body on it, long bed, on one bench seat in front, and was changing EVERYTHING out to go from a clutch to auto transmission. My mechanic had serious health problems one right after another and decided to sale the truck. Our agreement was to put EVERYTHING (75% at least new parts I have receipts) back on it to make the transformation. ALL OF THE BIG ITEMS ARE DONE: tranny, engine, transfer case, muffler, fuel tanks, and and the body.
So I hauled it to a friends house who I thought his son could finish it for me,he joined the Naional Guard, hired another guy to finish is up, he put the wrong steering wheel back in, I had already taken it out. It comes with a new Tonneau Cover (still in box), rubber bed mat, and an extra set of tires and wheels. The tires are worn, the wheels are aluminum. Seat and Carpet, I pulled it out and scribed it until it looked brand new
