Description

1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

This car was the International Show Car Association Best Paint Winner. It was a Best in Class Winner at World Of Wheels. It won Best Paint at World of Wheels. It Won the World Street Challenge. It won at the Super Chevy Show. It won at the Magic Dragon Street Machine Nationals. It has several other first place, best paint , peoples choice and best of show trophies. Now about the car. This was a full blown roticery restoration. That is not a paint job people. A restoration is something far more in depth. This car was completely disassembled, media blasted, and rebuilt from the ground up. I have pictures of the car before, during and after the build. This was a straghit and solid body. Minor rust repair was done to the rear floor pans and right rocker. That was it. This was a good solid car to start with.

BODY and PAINT: Roticery restored. Body minitubbed 4 inches each side. Completely rebuilt and painted black and cleared in pieces. It was then assembled, sanded, airbrushed in House Of Kolor Kandy paint then cleared again. It was then sanded and polished to a GLASS FINISH. The entire front clip, doors, mirrors, rear spoiler and dash are air brushed. There are some of the most realistic real fire flames you will ever find. Over 250 skulls are hidden in the fire. All body and paint work done by Herron Custom Paint in California, Mo. There is a grim reaper and a couple of demon girls on the hood scoop. The reaper has a burning face in his hand. The detail in this paint is amazing. each time you look you will find something new. All new bolts, clips, fasteners, weatherstrips, latches, strikers, and power window motors from Classic Ind. The bottom of the car was sprayed in 3M Body Shutz. It scored just as well on the undercarriage as it did on the outside at World Of Wheels.

ENGINE: 406c.i. Line Honed, ballanced, 4340 forged stroke seat crank, Eagle 6 in. H beam rods, SRP flat top pistons, 12-443-8 comp cam, XR294H hydrolic roller cam kit, dart Aluminum heads, CB663H STD rod bearings, M1038HSTD main bearings, 035 seal power ring set, Splayed main caps, Chrome harmonic ballancer, SFI flywheel, M55HV oil pump, Edelbrock intake, Demon carb, Polished edelbrock waterpump, Billet serpentine pulley system with polished aluminum alternator, power steering pump, and a/c compressor. The air conditioning is not hooked up. It has a polished timing cover. All fuel lines are braided steel with the high dollar fittings. Polished aluminum power stearing remote resivior. Polished aluminum 4 core radiator with dual electric fans.

TRANNY: Turbo 350 with shift kit and stall converter. It hits hard and fast. this is a drag racing transmission.

EXAUST: Hedman ceramic coated headers, 3 pipe all the way, flowmasters, Jegs electric header dumps. You uncap the headers at the push of a button.

SUSPENSION: Ford 9 rear end that has been narrowed and fully chromed , positrac with 3.73 gears, SSBC Force 10 four wheel disk brakes, slotted rotors, all brake and fuel lines are polished stainless steel, chrome booster and master cylinder, adjustable rear proportioning block, drop spindles and springs up front. Gloss black powdercoat on springs, spindles, control arms, subframe, subframe connectors and traction bars.

WIRING: Custom built by American Autowire

INTERIOR: Stock black in apperance with a narrowed back seat.

TIRES and Wheels: BF Goodrich g force sport 235/40 ZR 17 front, BF Goodrich G Force TA Drag radial P315/35 R 17 rear on American racing Torque ThrustII Wheels.

There were over 900 hours in the restoration and paint on this car. That does not count the engine builder and all the mechanics labor that went into it. In our area bodyshops are currently charging 50.00 per hour. Have you priced paint, clear, sandpapers, primers etc. The clear used on this car is 400.00 per gallon alone. Mechanic shops are charging 65.00 per hour. Start pricing all these engine and drivetrain parts in a Summit racing or Jegs catalog and you will see that adds up really fast. There is no was you could even begin to build a car of this caliber for the price I am asking. The parts used in the build of this car alone would run you my asking price.

This car is a real attention getter. It draws huge crowds at every show. Stops at the gas station, or wherever else turn into photo shoots. Its a fun car and a blast to drive. It rides smooth down the highway and handles great. It has no lack of power. If you want some muscle this car has it. I have never raced it but the engine builder and driveline people estimated it to be a 10 second car no problem, maybe better. This is a solid car. Nothing to hide here. if you want more pictures of the car before , during, or after the build let me know and I can get them to you. I have a 100% positive feedback on ebay so you can be sure that what you see is what you get.

I will consider REASONABLE OFFERS. If you are interested in this car get in touch with me and make an offer. The worst that can happen is I say no and throw you a counter offer.Thats just how this stuff works. I am open to ideas???? Partial trade??? I do have a certain amount that I just have to get but you never know what might happen until you ask. I will not be able to deliver this car outside of a 70 mile radius of my location. . You can come get it and drive it home. It runs great and it will drive across country if you choose to do so. If you want it shipped that will be entirely the buyers responsibility. I will not turn loose of the car until I am paid in full. If you would like to come see the car in person that is not a problem.I will fire it up for you and take you for a ride, whatever, but I will not let you drive it until you pay for it.

There is no loan against this car. The title is clear. Pay for it and I will sign it over and you are on your way. No bank issues or anything like that to deal with. Thanks for looking.
