Between 1966-1968 only 10,236 Jaguar 420 were built, both in England and abroad, which contributed importantly to Jaguar's turnover in the late 1960s. While it may have been a mid-size car, it gave nothing away in terms of luxury. Plush, adjustable seats, deep pile carpet, all veneer dash, full instrumentation and excellent legroom all gave the impression of a larger car.
It is with a certain amount of pride that we offer our Jaguar 420 for sale. In the many years we have owned this vehicle, we have enjoyed numerous outings and car shows and have won many awards, especially after entering it in the Concours d'Elegance judged by the Jaguar Club of North America. This car is definitely a head turner. Its unusual original colour of willow green makes it stand out in a crowd. It is in immaculate condition and drives like a dream.
We have spent over $15,000 for many extras, like coated rear tanks, new front brake springs and shocks, a brake master cylinder and even an electric fan as well as new fuel pumps and much more.
The attached photos speak for themselves.
Enjoy.
