The new 1979 Firebird marked the 10th anniversary for this F designated pony car. It featured a new front nose with rectangular headlamps and was surrounded with separate bezels and Pontiac polished up the rear end of the car. America was through with the 2 oil embargos that it had gone through in the early 70s and V-8s like this were emerging as fast as Detroit could build them. Everyone was working and enjoying the sights and sounds of America again. In fact this was a record year for Trans Am production. Life was good and we were taking advantage of it. This is a shining example of a 2-owner Trans Am that started life in Florida. It has 10,000 carefully driven miles. It was ordered with the code #2058 Cameo White over a beautifully maintained special ordered black interior and built in April of 1979. What you will notice immediately that it doesnt have a bird on the hood. The order sheet showed Bird Delete and was approved by Pontiac. A numbers matching K code - 403cid V-8 and a TH-350 automatic transmission powers this car. You will also notice that it came with the special performance package, custom trim group, lamp group, custom air conditioning, roof drip moldings, insulation package and much, much more. With this car comes many documents, including the original bill of sale, window sticker, owners manual and a Florida title. It is also wearing all of the original parts, including the spark plugs, air cleaner, headlamps and A/C compressor. With the sale will also come with an extra set of wheels and radials. Take a look at the photos and see how clean this car is. Note how the paint still shines. It certainly has been carefully detailed and maintained but it also shows very low mileage.
