This 1978 Chevrolet 25th Anniversary Corvette has had a thorough body-on restoration. All major components have been repaired, rebuilt, or replaced. This is an L48/automatic with matching numbers. The car is rust free with a straight, all original fiberglass body. It has been properly restored, meticulously maintained, and extensively documented over the years. It is in fantastic mechanical condition and can easily be used as a daily driver if desired.
What's been done:
- Engine has been professionally rebuilt, along with the transmission, with about 10k miles put on since then. Modifications include porting and polishing, plus a new mild cam. Mileage before rebuild is unknown, but current odometer reading is 55k miles.
- Interior is completely redone with new custom embroidered leather seats.
- Full exhaust installed, including Flowmaster 40 series mufflers and stainless 2.5in pipes.
- New BFG Radial T/As installed in 2005, which have plenty of tread left.
Other things to note:
Trailing arm assembly replaced, new brake calipers, differential rebuilt, A/C is cold, and includes original working 8-track player (with many 8-track tapes included if wanted). This is only a small list of the many things that have been completed on this car.
