1948 Ford Fordor Sedan 79A-73B
Nicely restored, super driving, flathead Ford. Almost everything has been redone within the last year or two. Shows and drives as a brand new 48 Ford…turn the key and go.
New black paint. All chrome and stainless redone as necessary. All rubber seals and gaskets replaced. New fender welting. All fasteners replaced with correct ones. Glass replaced as necessary including new rubber seals. You can see in the pictures it has dual spot lights, dual fog lights, all work.
Interior replaced with correct original pattern. New headliner and door panels. New floor mat and carpet. All dash plastic replaced. Steering wheel redone. Window moldings repainted and new fuzzes and rubber installed. New glove box liner. Radio I’ve never tried. Heater is restored and works.
Engine was rebuilt, runs strong. New fuel system, tank, fuel tank sender, etc. as required. New spark plug wires and plugs. New starter drive and solenoid. Transmission is matching numbers to the car and shifts perfectly, no popping out of gear, smooth synchronizers, etc. Complete new wiring harness from the headlights to the taillights.
New brakes, wheel cylinders, shoes, etc., drag links, tie rods, seals, shackle kit, and kingpins. Tires are Coker wide white 15” with new caps and rings.
Underneath the car is clean and dry. There is no sign of rust anywhere on or under the car.
