We purchased this car from it's impressive 90 yr old owner, who raced boats, last summer. He was the original owner and said his family had enjoyed it for over 35 yrs. It was covered in cardboard for protection. He lost his wife a few months before. We saw that it had placed 8th in a car show, and took it to a Mustang shop he used. They saw it before the paint and vinyl in 2008 (we have receipt) and verified it had not been in a wreck, just as he said. The engine is from his family winning race boat! One son raced boats with him and the other sells auto parts, so they did have a good time with it. The outside is super sharp and I like the color now better than the original. The inside has new looking carpet and new upper blk vinyl interior. The seats are cool. They are fabric and leather and original. The fabric needs some cleaning. We want it, really admire it, but need to purchase a teenager car. We had thought we'd take it to local shows, and have lots of bonding with the sons. I've been laid off and looking awhile now, and it's just not logical right now to keep it. The stereo system is JVC, really nice. The original rims are in the trunk and replacements are from a newer Mustang a family member of his had. My husband knows more details than me, but I am the one listing. Email us for a phone number and thanks for looking!
