I had the pleasure of seeing this car three years ago and am so
glad it came into our shop. This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is not only
clean but also has documentation of the original sale to the first
owner. They kept everything from the original manuals about the car
to even the Protect-O-Plate. Because of its paperwork, this is a
sought-after car for a first-generation Camaro lover.
Under the hood sits the numbers-matching motor, a 327 Chevy small
block. Mated to the motor is a very smooth-shifting 2-Speed
Powerglide transmission backed by a 10-bolt rear end with Posi
Traction. This car was originally sold out of California and then
went to Texas, which kept this gorgeous ride rust-free. The car has
been totally taken apart and restored, and since then, it has been
very well cared for.
The car sports the Deluxe Interior in a gorgeous shade of blue with
white vinyl inserted in the seats. The dash, carpet, headliner, and
floor mats are all blue to match the car's interior, which isn't
overwhelming. The exterior is white with blue metallic racing
stripes, and when the sun hits them, they light up, showing the
metallic in the paint. Finishing the exterior off is a set of Rally
Wheels that have been painted the same color as the stripes and
then wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires. This ride sounds great and
looks fabulous going down the road!
