For Sale: 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS in Wallingford, Connecticut

Vehicle Description

This car has had only 2 owners since new. The second owner buying her in 2013 with just 21,000 miles on the clock. She has been thoroughly enjoyed for what she is. A high performance, summer fun car. She currently has 107,000 miles on her and has been very well maintained, primarily at dealerships. She just passed her MA inspection and has a totally clean bill of health from her CarFax report. The 6.2 L V8 pushes out 425 HP and 420 lb ft of torque and moves this paddle shifted, 6 speed automatic equipped SS Camaro to 60 MPH in just about 5 seconds. No need to glance down though, as this model has the optional heads up display.

As a newer car, she has a lot of creature comforts a similar 69 Camaro would never have dreamed of.

Power leather seats, power convertible top, of course power steering and power brakes, however, Brembo calipers clamp down on the 4 wheel discs. Bluetooth connectivity, AC, infotainment system, cruise control, tilt wheel, full gauges, aluminum wheels wrapped in Continental Extreme Contac tires ( 245/45/ZR20's in front and 275/40 ZR 20's in the rear), performance struts, and IRS.

Everything works as it should, AC blows cold, heat blows hot, blinkers blink and lights light. Press on the gas too hard and the rear tires squeal in joy and pain via the G80 coded limited slip diff.

Mechanically, she is tip top and ready to cruise top down wherever you want, with confidence.

Her Bright Red paint, white stripes, with black top and black leather interior contrast nicely.

The paint does have quite a few mileage chips, most of which are on the "fins" in front of each rear wheel (having a professional paint correction would fully minimize them). The cloth top also has a few blemishes but does not leak nor make any unwanted noises. One of the fog lights is missing it's trim ring.

Thoughts of those issues clear out of your head immediately when you turn the key and hear the the 378 cubic inches roar to life. Unlock the top, hit the button and less than 20 seconds later, the top is down. Take an extra minute or so and tuck the boot cover in place and you're ready for some high performance cruising.

Peering under the various body moldings, one can see some surface rust on the suspension bits but there is no rot or body rust. As a New England car, despite never having been driven in any snowy weather, surface rust is just a known thing. If that is a concern, a treatment with something like NH Undercoat would set the rust at bay.

If you're looking for a convertible that will grab attention and be a blast to drive, here is your car.

Absolutely turn key and ready for summer fun.

Asking price is $14,000
