The Ford Mustang has left an indelible mark on automotive history
since its debut in 1964. Designed to appeal to a younger
demographic, the Mustang embodied speed, style, and affordability.
This handsome 1966 Mustang coupe has been carefully restored. The
solid body was professionally reshot in the original Silver Blue
finish (Y code). The black vinyl top is in excellent condition and
new chrome bumpers have been installed. Period-correct 15" Mustang
'Magnum 500' chrome wheels mount BFGoodrich redline radial tires.
The interior was fully restored using Mustang 'Pony' seat
upholstery and new carpeting. There is a fully functional A/C
system, a complete set of factory gauges and a classic 'wood'
3-spoke wheel. An aftermarket AM sound system delivers your tunes.
This Mustang was a 'C' code car from the factory - a 289ci
'Windsor' w/2-barrel carburetor. That engine has recently been
upgraded with a 302ci Windsor that was professionally rebuilt. It
is equipped with a mild street cam, polished intake, Edelbrock
4-barrel and electronic ignition. Cooling is managed by an aluminum
radiator and the Windsor sounds great though a stainless dual
exhaust. Torque is delivered via a rebuilt 3-speed automatic
gearbox to a stock differential. The virtually spotless chassis has
power steering and upgraded power-assisted 4-wheel disc brakes with
dual master cylinder. This is a very nice Hoss - if you want a
classic Blue Oval, this Mustang coupe has your name on it. ALL
