extended cab with only 51,284 actual miles! This Chevy truck is
still wearing it's factory Bright Red paint and after almost 30
years it still looks great. You can certainly tell that it has been
a garage-kept vehicle its whole life. The front grill and both
bumpers still gleam in the light, as do the wheel lip moldings.
This truck has black side molding that runs the length of the body
and ties in at the black rubber bumper guards for a cohesive look.
Black accents continue with the dual side mirrors, front chin
spoiler, and window trim. A light tint to the windows adds to the
theme and keeps things cooler in the summer. The bed is well
protected by a black All-Star bedliner in excellent condition.
Under the rear bumper, you'll find a tow hitch receiver should the
need arise. This truck sits atop 5-spoke factory aluminum wheels
with 4X4 call-outs and a set of Goodyear Wrangler Radials that are
ready for any driving surface.
Under the hood you'll find a 4.3 liter fuel-injected V-6 in a very
clean and bone stock engine bay. These 4.3's are known for their
longevity and their superiority to the 4-cylinder engines that
preceded them in the S-10. Other highlights under the hood include
power steering, power brakes (disc/drum), and A/C, The V-6 is mated
to a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission with 4-wheel drive
that works just as it should. With this drivetrain, this truck is
as ready to hit the trail as it is the freeway!
Open the drivers door to find an all-original grey interior (except
for the stereo) in excellent condition. This truck has obviously
been pampered over the years and the immaculate interior is a
testament to that level of care. The drivers door features controls
for power windows and locks that work as they should. The grey
cloth front bucket seats show no signs of excessive wear and are
very comfortable. Between the seats is an armrest/storage box combo
with cupholders and ahead of that on the floor is a shifter for the
4-wheel drive. In the rear you'll find two folding, center-facing
vinyl seats in very good condition - perfect for bringing the
family along. Up front is a crack-free dash that is home to an
original, working gauge cluster. Ahead of the driver is a 4-spoke
steering wheel on a tilt column with controls for cruise control
and intermittent wipers as well as a column shifter for the
automatic transmission. The climate control system is easy to use
and delivers cold A/C and hot heat with a strong fan on demand. The
only non-original component on the dash is a JVC AM/FM/CD stereo
that sounds great through the 4 factory speakers. In the glovebox
is the original owners manual and on the back seat is an original
sales brochure for the full 1993 Chevy line of trucks - very cool
to have! Overhead is a tight felt headliner and dual visors with
lighted vanity mirrors and underfoot is nice stain-free grey carpet
topped with rubber Chevy floormats.
