Produced from 1963 through 1967, the second generation Corvette
gives you styling, power, and a distinctive road-presence.
Perhaps one of the best features for the C2 is the hidden,
quad-headlight assembly. A feature not seen in an American car
since the 1942 DeSoto and a feature that would remain in the
Corvette lineup till 2005.
Corvette's dressed in white and red always draw attention. Aside
from the original door panels, the interior has been restored to
factory correct specs. The seller sent out the dash and the seats
to be properly restored. The seatbelts representing "Irving Air
Chute Co" represent the quality of restoration on the interior. The
Wonderbar radio and clock are original.
The number's matching 327 V8 pairs nicely with the 2 speed
Powerglide which reflected about 11% of Corvette's that left the
factory with an automatic transmission in 1964. A rebuilt rear end
helps put the power to the pavement. Factory style power steering
was added. New tires were added about 300 miles ago.
Finished in the factory Ermine White, the paint represents a driver
quality vehicle. Knock-off simulators come on the car with another
set of gray-styled hub caps as well. With plenty of spare parts, a
like-new interior, and fresh rubbers, this C2 is ready for summer
cruises!
