This beautiful 1969 Chevy Camaro Z/28 is a numbers matching 302-290 hp v8. The previous owner did an amazing nut and bolt restoration on it. This car has been certified by Jerry MacNiesh’s. Originally it was fathom green with a green interior. The previous owner’s uncle had one when he was just a little kid, and it was maroon exterior and black interior with houndstooth. So that was a long-time dream of his to have the exact car. This car has the Muncie 4 speed with the factory 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 positract ratio. It was built in the Los Angeles plant and engine, trans, and rear end all have the correct original stampings according to the Camaro Hi-Performance database. The Z/28 Camaro was one of the most successful factory-built race cars of the 60’s. In 1968 the Z/28 Camaro dominated all motorsport arenas winning the SCCA Trans Am series and NHRA super stock world Championship title thanks to the Penske racing team (SCCA) and Jenkins Strickle racing team (NHRA). Only 20,302 units were produced making this model very collectable. Large folder of original photos before the restoration, documentation, and receipts will come with the car. It does have a custom X pipe with borla mufflers that sounds amazing and is very close to stock sound level. With that amazing exhaust and the vented hood the engine is in your face and roars behind you at the same time. Which makes it a thrill to drive and will put a huge smile on your face.
