This 1985 Chevy K-10 Scottsdale Diesel Pickup is an extremely nice
truck that spent its life in Idaho and Oregon. This truck has had a
lot of work done to it and it runs and drives awesome. The last
owner owned a Carquest store and frame-on restored this truck for
his daughter 5-6 years ago. It has not been driven a lot since then
so it it is still in great condition. The body is clean and
straight. When it was restored he had it repainted in its original
color of Medium Blue Poly with an added Medium Gray Metallic lower
accent. Looks Excellent!! It was a windows out repaint and they
added all new rubbers, weatherstripping, and seals. They also added
new side moldings. They kept the original bumpers and wheel well
moldings. The underside of this truck is really clean and we found
no rust issues.
The interior is in excellent condition. When restored they replaced
the seat upholstery, dcarpet, and dash. The door panels and dash
bezel appear to be original. The headlights, taillights,
brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work
and both gas tanks work. The horn, heat, and windshield wipers are
also working. This is a really nice basic interior that you would
get with the Scottsdale trim.
Mechanically this truck is top notch. It starts easy and runs and
drives wonderful. The engine is the original 6.2L Diesel that runs
strong with no issues or red flags that we found. The last owner
had it rebuilt when the truck was restored and it has around 15,000
miles on it. We did not get the receipts but it looks new and you
can tell it has been apart. At that time it received a new Reman
long block, new injection pump, new glow pugs, new lines and hoses,
new waterpump, new radiator, new starter, new alternator, and they
added dual exhaust. The engine on this truck really runs nice. The
transmission is the sm465 4 speed manual that shifts nice with a
strong clutch. It is mated to the np208 transfer case and the 4WD
works like it should. The rear axle is a 10 bolt with 3.73 gears
and the front axle is also a 10 bolt with 3.73 gears. This has a
nice riding 4 inch all spring lift that gives the truck a great
look. It is sitting on a set of aftermarket aluminum rims with 33
inch BFG All terrain tires. Very cool truck that is ready to be
enjoyed.
