This 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 is finished in Verde Muschio (Green)
over a tan vinyl interior and is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four
paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment
includes SPICA fuel injection, an oil-pan guard, stainless-steel
bumpers, four-wheel disc brakes, Eibach springs, and 14? Cromodora
alloy wheels. The car was refurbished in 2015 including metalwork
and a repaint in its current finish. This 115-series coupe is now
offered on consignment by the selling dealer with an owner's
manual, a tool kit, service records, and a clean Massachusetts
Title.
The Bertone-designed body was stripped and received rust repair
including installation of a replacement driver-side floor-pan and
rocker panels in 2015 prior to a repaint in its current Verde
Muschio color. The car features an angled rear exhaust, a
collapsible antenna, amber driving-lamp lenses, front and rear vent
windows, and stainless-steel bumpers with rubber-edged guards.
Silver-finished 14? Cromodora Daytona alloy wheels are mounted with
185/70 Michelin Defender tires showing 2014 date codes. A tool kit
and a full-size spare tire mounted on a Campagnolo rim are stored
in the trunk. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel
discs. Work completed in 2015 reportedly included installing new
brake pads and calipers along with Eibach springs.
The cabin is upholstered in tan vinyl with black carpets and trim
along with wood veneer on the dashboard and center console. Other
equipment includes a locking glovebox and reclining front seats
with three-point seatbelts. A replacement headliner and seat
coverings were reportedly installed as part of the refurbishment,
and the car has a blank plate in place of a radio. The selling
dealer notes that the driver-side carpeting shows wear and the
heater controls and fan are not working.
A wood-rimmed Personal steering wheel fronts Jaeger instrumentation
that includes a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,800-rpm
redline, and gauges indicating oil pressure, water temperature, and
fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 64,500 miles,
approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.
Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.0-liter twin-cam inline-four is equipped with SPICA fuel
injection and was rated at 130 horsepower when new. The cam cover
is painted with a black crinkle finish, and the car has a bolted-on
oil-pan guard.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual
transmission. Work performed as part of the refurbishment included
installation of a replacement clutch, clutch cylinder, and lines
along with a replacement fuel filter and exhaust system.
