Vehicle Description
Rust free chassis and body, Cab and bed are original to 1954. Frame
is from a 1972 Dodge Power Wagon. This truck was stripped
completely down and rebuilt from the frame up, as the original
builder had done it. Original builder bought the truck when he was
19 and sold it when he was 62. He was the head mechanic at a GMC
dealership. Every mechanic or body man who has looked at the truck
said that the person who built it knew exactly what he was doing
and how to get there. Hydraulic clutch system was completely
rebuilt with the biggest racing clutch that would fit in the bell
housing. Truck spent its first 60+ years in Southern California
Desert Country.
350 Chevy engine, built by Marshall Automotive Machine, with
approximately 4,000 miles.
Transmission is New Venture, NV4500, 5 speed standard.
Dana 60 rear end, Dana Front axle and Dana transfer case.
Includes a custom built canvas cover for the bed with all necessary
hardware.
Bed and rails are Mahogany.
