This Shelby Cobra CSX6014 continuation model features a fiberglass body on a dual 4in round tube chassis. The rolling chassis was fitted with the aluminum 468ci FE built by The Carroll Shelby Engine Company at Classic Cars in Las Vegas Nevada. The engine is mated to a 5 speed Tremec TKO 600 transmission. The car is also equipped with upgraded stainless steel side pipes, roll bar, lap seat belts, 15in wheels with three-ear knockoffs, four wheel disc brakes, MSD ignition, and a 4 barrel Holley HP double pumper carburetor. With only 152 miles on the speedometer, this car is barely broken in!
The Aluninum 427 FE block stroked to 468ci is tuned on 91 octane, as it produces 600HP. A hydraulic roller cam, and 11:1 compression makes for very low maintenance. Another featured upgrade is a billet coolant expansion tank.
With coil over in the front and rear suspension and tubular adjustable control arms, it handles very well and smooth to drive with the help of the Independent rear suspension (IRS).
