1955 MG TF1500 Roadster / Convertible
The final version of the classic MG which ran from 1953-1955.
The TF1500 was built on the TD's 1250cc platform that was bored out to 1466cc becoming the TF1500. Only 3400 TF1500s were produced.
The TF was replaced by the MGA in 1956.
This is a beautiful example of this Classic Roadster! Shown in its factory black color, a rarely seen color on the TF. The paint shines beautifully with no issues. That means no dings, dents, scratches and certainly not a bit of rust! All chrome shines bright with no pitting. The saddle interior is like new with no visible signs of wear. The convertible top is in excellent condition. The Tourneau cover is included and is also in excellent condition. The side curtains show some signs of wear from usage but there are No tears or cracks.
The engine starts, runs and drives perfectly. Its stops as it should and has no mechanical issues. The 1466cc / 1.5L / 89.5ci / 63hp engine is incredible. The engine comes factory equipped with 2-SU carburetors and a 4speed manual transmission with a top speed of 85mph. The wire wheels are the real deal on this car. This TF comes with is original tool kit, a box full of manuals and a few small parts.
