1947 Ford COE truck with duel axles! Amazing Cab Over Engine Ford
in perfect running condition! This truck spend it's early years as
a work truck in the gold mines of Georgia! Then spent many years in
a private collection in SC. Once acquired, the last owner had the
wheel bearings done, all new tires professionally mounted on the
original split rims, full tune-up on the engine, installed 2
vintage fire engine sirens with a secondary battery system (just
for the sirens) and hand built a custom bed (using wood flooring
from a carriage house in Philadelphia built in 1860)! The wood bed
is 2.5 inches think with great character! The strongest part of
this truck is the flathead V8! This engine is exceptional and runs
perfect every time you turn the key! Believed to be the original
drive train. The exterior paint is flaking and shows wear as
expected on a truck of this age. Rims and undercarriage were
painted when the bed was completed. Lights all work and has a
fantastic original ''Stop'' break light at the rear. In first gear,
you can pull a house sideways down the street! Second, third and
fourth are smooth and the sound of this trucks with the high side
pipes is awesome!!! 4 speed transmission Strong V8 original split
rims ''dead'' axle 2 speed rearend custom bead
