1955 'First Series' Deluxe 5-window cab pickup modernized hot rod. Engine: 4.8L V8 Vortec (the short stroke LS) with chain driven cam shaft, headers, 2.5" exhaust, was refreshed at 110k miles to include machine shop inspected heads, new head and valve cover gaskets. Replaced: water pump, all sensors, plugs/wires, oil/filter. The sequential multi-port fuel injection is mated with rear mounted Tanks Inc. tank and Walbro fuel pump, new GM style 58 psi filter/regulator (with one inlet, one outlet, one return). Aluminum radiator with dual electric fans (puller and pusher). Trans.: GM 4160E(lectronic) 4 speed OD. Rear: GM 10 bolt 8.5", 3:08 gears, Suspension: Mustang 2 power rack & pinion (with new bushings); triangulated 4-link with QA1 adjustable coil-overs, power discs front, drums rear (with proportioning valve). Also replaced: trans fluid/filter, all gaskets and seals; differential oil, brake pads and shoes. Cab: vintage exterior visor, Dolphin gauges, self canceling signals, 'Cold Master' AC, new mirror and visor, Altman door latches and locks. NOTE: Antique tool box not included, but available separately only with the truck.
