Stock Number: 1850 - This 1978 Trans AM was built in the Norwood,
Ohio plant and sold new at Crown Pontiac, Inc. in St. Petersburg,
Florida. This is a W72 400ci - V8 and Automatic Trans AM. The W72
option code designates the Hi Output Engine for 1978. It puts out a
respectable 220hp and is the original numbers matching Pontiac
engine installed at the Factory. This TA is fully restored and was
treated to a 2 Stage paint job right here at Restore A Muscle Car.
The rebuilt engine is cooled by a new aluminum radiator, and the
car is equipped with an updated air-conditioning system. It rolls
on Custom Billet 18" Snowfake wheels with New Tires. It is loaded
with options including the all-important Hurst T-Tops and those
details contribute to why this is such an outstanding Trans AM.
