Vehicle Description
This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette split-window custom Resto-Mod is
powered by an LS9 ZR1 supercharged V8 crate engine rated at 638hp
and 604 ft/lbs of torque with a polished supercharger cooled by a
custom aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The engine is
backed by a TREMEC TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission coupled to a
Dana 44 independent rear end. Bringing all this into contact with
the pavement, it was built with a Hydratech hydraulic-assist
braking system controlling 6-piston Wilwood calipers on front and
4-piston Wilwood calipers on the rear, all working with the
Michelin performance tires mounted on the custom Schott wheels. The
underside features highly polished mandrel bent MagnaFlow
stainless-steel exhaust system, all set in the Street Shops red
powder-coated chassis with fully adjustable coilover shocks on all
four corners. Everything is either chrome, powder-coated, stainless
or aluminum, creating a very functional chassis. The Mercedes
Brilliant Silver paint highlights the body and seams while wrapping
itself around the custom Porsche CanCan Red interior, created by
Chuck Rowland Car Upholstery in Oklahoma, boasting interior
features that include one-off seats, console, door panels and trim,
a Vintage Air system, power windows, power door locks, Classic
Instruments custom dash, leather-wrapped steering wheel, Daytona
weave carpet, custom Focal sound system and alarm. This Corvette
comes with less than 550 miles since completed, a custom red cover
matching the interior and a storyboard for showing.
