This 1968 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition was granted an
official license and certificate of authenticity as issued by
Eleanor Licensing LLC for Eleanor's character, looks and image as
it appeared in the 2000 film "Gone in 60 Seconds." The car comes
with the genuine Eleanor certification paperwork, Eleanor body VIN
plate and emblems issued by Gone in 60 Seconds LLC. This custom
Resto-Mod fastback conversion was fully reconditioned and given a
full, professional rotisserie restoration. It has all the
movie-correct Eleanor body modifications and accessories, including
the side-exit dual exhaust. Of course, it would not be Eleanor
without the wired Go-Baby-Go NOS armed dash switch, Eleanor nitrous
bottle (non-operational) and red NOS boost shifter knob. Underneath
the distinctive domed Eleanor hood sits a freshly restored Ford
5.8-liter V8 engine equipped with aluminum heads and a modern Fast
2.0 EFI computer-controlled fuel injection system with eight
downdraft short stacks. The engine compartment also features a
modern billet pulley system, an aluminum radiator, an MSD
electronic ignition, power steering, billet hood hinges and
aluminum stabilizer bars. It is coupled to a 4-speed Toploader
manual transmission with a Hurst-style shifter. It was designed to
be a blend of the iconic Eleanor styling, with an updated driveline
for improved reliability and performance. Everything is
Eleanor-correct, right down to the proper sequential taillights,
bullet-style side-view mirror and Eleanor-style flip-up gas-filler
lid. It exhales through Scott Drake headers and a 2.5-inch exhaust,
which exits through the side rockers. The exhaust system is
equipped from the driver's seat with electric-controlled exhaust
dumps so you can instantly adjust the exhaust volume from a full
muffler to open headers. Stopping power comes from 4-wheel disc
brakes with a Wilwood master cylinder. The car was professionally
finished in Pepper Gray Metallic two-stage exterior paint along
with black Rally body stripes and multiple layers of clearcoat over
the top. The underside is highly detailed as well. The all-new
interior features custom "Gone in 60 Seconds" embroidered seats and
a custom center console. The interior also features brushed
stainless-steel billet trim along with an Alcantara suede headliner
and panels. The rear area is equipped with a matching factory style
fold-down seat with the NOS bottle located behind it. A custom
retro-styled stereo head unit is Bluetooth-equipped and powered
through four speakers. The interior is also equipped with modern
air conditioning. It also has an electric trunk release and a
12-volt cabin phone charging port. In addition, it has a custom
"Gone in 60 Seconds" laser-cut backlit LED logo frenched into the
rear tail panel. To further enhance Eleanor when on display, there
is red LED lighting in the engine area, cabin and exterior ground
effects, which are all powered by a second battery in the trunk
compartment. This car rolls on custom Eleanor-style wheels. It
comes with a 30x40-inch professionally assembled "Gone in 60
Seconds" framed presentation of the official movie poster, along
with authentic officially "signed" photos of the lead cast members
Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie.
