Vehicle Description
This two-owner 1982 Porsche 928 is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 engine
paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. It is finished in
Grand Prix White over black leather upholstery with the 981 option
that extends the leather to the dashboard and door panels. Braking
is handled by power-assisted discs at each corner. Equipment
includes pop-up headlights, sunroof, driver and passenger side
power mirrors, rear windscreen wiper, side protection moldings, air
conditioning, 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat, cruise control,
automatic climate control, rear sunshades, tool kit and 16-inch
phone-dial alloy wheels. This example was purchased in 2017 from
the prominent original owner after 35 years of ownership. The car
was built in October 1981, and the in-service date according to the
Braman Porsche dealer records is January 1, 1982, to the Palm Beach
family residence. The car has been left unmodified with the
exception of a 1980s built-in Fox radar detector and a 1990s
Eclipse CD player, both of which were added by the original owner
in-period. The timing belt and water pump were performed under
current ownership. Records and receipts included.
