Oregon, and remained in the caring hands of the original owner
until our recent acquisition. The truck is presented in its
original Laguna Green Metallic exterior paint over Grey interior.
It is powered by the proven Vortec 5.7 liter V8, Automatic
transmission with overdrive and 4 wheel drive. Options include:
Power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, power
mirrors, A/C, 30/70 front split bench with fold down armrest with
console, auxiliary power points, folding rear seat, 16 inch wheels
with stainless steel trim rings and polish center caps, 8 foot box,
tow package, upgraded stereo, SmittyBilt side step bars, etc.
Today, at just 113116 miles since new, this extremely original,
1997 K2500 stands tall in all areas. The Laguna Green exterior
paint appears to be mostly if not all original, the original grey
interior shows extremely clean and tidy, the frame and underside of
the truck are original and rock solid with wear items appearing
serviced, and the engine and engine bay show excellent.
Mechanically, this Chevy K2500 is spot on. The Vortec V8 starts and
runs with no issues, the transmission shifts smoothly and
distributes the power properly, the 4 wheel drive engages as it
should in high and low gear, the truck tracks true and stops
straight.
This generation of GM trucks are well known for their reliability
and longevity. It is not uncommon to see examples still on the road
with well over 300,000 miles on them and still going strong. With
the skyrocketing prices of new trucks, Clean, lower mile original
