Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this cool 1966
Oldsmobile Toronado. The 66 Toronado set the American market on
fire when it debuted. With it's sleek low profile, hideaway
headlights and fullwidth grill it was a styling sensation!
Oldsmobile was a engineering powerhouse in the 60s and they brought
the new technology with a FWD drivetrain consisting of a 425ci V8
with a unique chain driven, side mounted transmission and
differential. This allowed the big luxury coupe to shoot 385hp and
a monstrous 475lb-ft of torque to the front wheels. This 66
Toronado is finished in a ultra clean white over dark blue
interior. The interior is in remarkable condition with no rips or
tears. The chrome and body trim is in great condition and
everything is reported to be in working order - including cold AC.
The car was optioned with tilt and telescopic steering wheel with
power brakes and steering. The car currently rides on chrome 17"
wheels and modern low-profile rubber. It runs and drives well, a
car for the weekend driver or cruiser. These 1st gen styling icons
are an uncommon sight in 2023, it's a desirable collector's item
that won't last long! This 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado is listed by our
