Vehicle Description
This fully restored custom 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer has 4-wheel
drive and was upgraded to a 6.2-liter V8 engine paired with a 6L80
transmission and Advanced Adapter that merge to an NP205 4x4
transfer case. The intake manifold cover is finished in Olive Green
along with coil covers and Chevrolet script in Copper. This K5
Blazer has dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, cold-air intake
with painted intake pipe, and red coil packs and wires. A
stainless-steel gas tank was installed with an electric fuel pump
and custom aluminum radiator with electric fan and shroud. The
original metal body was restored and refinished in Olive Green with
gold flake, and the chassis, engine and transmission were redone in
Bronze to contrast the exterior, along with new chrome and side
trim. The tailgate lettering was pinstriped with Copper to match
the frame. All-new chrome was installed, along with bumpers, new
vent windows, new glass and grille. The frame was stripped and
refinished in Copper with Satin Black Skyjacker 4-inch lift
combined to Fox shocks all around. The steering box was replaced
with Red-Head steering and Fox dual-steering shocks. The
differentials have been upgraded to 3/4-ton 8-lug with new disc
brakes on the front. This K5 Blazer rides on polished KMC 20-inch
wheels with 33-inch tires. The interior was fully redone in
two-tone, including TMI seats, dash, door panels and finished with
custom carpet and floor mats. The door handles and window cranks
are Billet Specialties. The radio was upgraded to modern-style
navigation, including a CarPlay screen with speakers in the kicker
panels. Painless wiring and Dakota Digital gauges were also
installed. This restoration was completed in December 2023
