This 1982 Ford F-250 XL Bullnose pickup is a really nice, really
clean, low mileage truck that spent its life in the Pacific NW. We
received some original paperwork with the truck like some miscl
receipts, build sheet, cardboard envelope from original dealer,
original owners manual. This truck has been well cared for and
judging by the condition, some of the paperwork, and conversations
with the last owner we believe the miles are original. The body on
this truck is really clean and straight. The paint appears to be
all original in a really nice color scheme of Dark Brown Metallic
and White. The paint still presents really nicely. This truck also
has all of the extra side moldings that are in excellent shape.
Even the factory bumper and grille are excellent!! The underside of
this truck is super clean and we found no rust issues with this
truck.
The interior is original and still nice. The bench seat was
reupholstered and the rest is original. It even has the original
floor mat that is still in good condition. The headlights,
taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The
gauges all work except for the tach which is fairly common in this
era of truck. The horn and windshield wipers work and the heat
works.
Mechanically this truck is excellent!! It runs excellent and drives
great!! The engine is believed to be the original 5.8L 351W V8 that
runs strong with no issues or red flags that we found. It has the
np435 4 Speed manual Transmission that shifts nice with a good
clutch. It is mated to the manual Borg Warner transfer case. The
4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a Dana 60 with 3.54
gears and the front axle is a Dana 44 TTB with 3.54 gears. This is
all sitting on a set of factory steel wheels with All terrain
tires. Hard to find clean Bullnose trucks!!
