Vehicle Description
This custom 1965 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a supercharged
6.2-liter LT4 dry-sump V8 engine from GM Performance that produces
650hp. The engine is paired with a T56 Super Magnum transmission,
also from GM Performance. The SRIII tubular chassis is
powder-coated in Satin Black and has been fitted with a C6 Corvette
suspension, Viking double adjustable coilovers, a Currie FAB9 IRS
housing, Strange third member, a 35-spline Eaton Truetrac
differential with 3.70 gears, a 33-spline rear ZR1-style bearing
hubs, sectioned front and rear sway bars from a C6 Corvette, a
Flaming River custom road racing rack and a VaporWorx fuel tank
with ZL1 fuel pump. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood 14-inch
C6 Corvette black drilled/slotted brakes and stainless-steel brake
lines. The fenders and quarter-panels were widened 1.5 inches, and
the headlights have been updated with a Detroit Speed product. This
Corvette rides on Forgeline DE3C center-lock wheels with Satin
Black centers with a polished black outer lip and are wrapped with
Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The exterior of this Corvette is
finished in Jet and Matte Black using PPG products. The interior is
finished with black leather and Alcantara with red stitching, is
kept cool by a Vintage Air system and features rebuilt factory
seats.
