This frame-off restored custom 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu is
powered by a BluePrint Engines 496ci V8 roller engine with spec
sheets and dyno sheet showing 601hp. The engine is connected to a
TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission and Richmond 12-bolt rear axle
with 3.23 ratio gears. The engine is supported by an MSD ignition,
Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection, Holley fuel tank with
internal pump, Flowmaster 81411 Scavenger Series Elite headers with
Flowmaster 853057 mufflers and 3-inch stainless-steel exhaust, a
March serpentine belt drive system and a March custom air filter.
The car was completed less than 2,000 miles ago and is 2 years old
with $200,000 invested. It is equipped with a custom powder-coated
frame, fully adjustable suspension front and rear, Wilwood brakes
and custom 18- and 20-inch Rev wheels wrapped in Michelin tires.
The body and custom-painted exterior include new front and rear
chromed bumpers, all-new glass on doors, front windshield and back
window, total car Dynamat for sound and heat, tinted windows and a
fully ceramic-coated exterior. The full leather custom interior has
brown felt inlaid into the seats and includes a custom center
console with floor shifter, Billet Specialties custom gauges with a
new carbon-look dash panel, leather and felt inlaid with
carbon-fiber door panels, Vintage Air, new carpets, a custom sound
system and cruise control. Other features include LED custom
underlighting, custom LED headlights and custom aluminum hood
hinges.
