Vehicle Description
This restored 4-door 1979 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith II is finished
in two-tone white with a Tan Palomino vinyl top over a Tan Palomino
interior. The car was reassembled with all-new window rubbers,
molding rubbers, new lights and lenses, and most clips, fasteners
and screws were replaced with factory new ones. The interior
features leather seats put through a hand-finishing process. Almost
everything else inside the car was renewed or refurbished. If
renewed, it was all done utilizing genuine Rolls-Royce quality
finishes and materials. Various sections of carpets were renewed.
All the wood inside the car was stripped, correctly stained in the
right places and refinished with clear lacquer, each hand-rubbed
between coats for the final finish. This included the front and
rear window surrounds, in addition to the four doors, dash, console
and rear vanity mirrors. Every single switch, gauge, button and
feature was disassembled, cleaned, polished and refitted. Almost
everything on the car was done to factory and original look. Upon
commencement, the engine was compression and leak-down tested. With
a good base, everything was either overhauled, replaced, serviced
or inspected and tested at the least. The brakes and hydraulics
system are completely overhauled with both brake pumps and pressure
valves rebuilt, with various steel brake lines and all flexible
rubber hoses replaced with factory hoses. This car rides on four
new classic whitewall tires.
