Wow! This one's a real showstopper. New inside and out, top to
bottom with less than 1,200 miles on a rotisserie restoration.
EXTERIOR: This car has extremely well done body work and paint! But
the first thing that caught my eye was the reproduction redline
BFGoodrich radial tires. They are attached to 15 inch rally rims
with shiny trim. The Granada Gold paint looks exquisite and has the
front RS hideaway headlights. It's also decked out with a nose
stripe, cowl hood and spoilers. The paint has been finished to an
extremely shiny and smooth finish. The chrome bumpers and trim
pieces appear to be new or refurbished. All the panels line up
nicely and have good gaps. All the glass looks new. All the chrome
and trim look new. The exterior of this car is top-notch all the
way around!
INTERIOR: This vintage Camaro looks like a new car inside. Starting
at the top the headliner has been replaced as well as the visors.
The dash pad, dials, knobs, and trim pieces are new. Upgraded with
digital gauges. New deluxe steering wheel. The Hurst 4-speed
shifter and knob are brand new. The front bucket seats and back
seat are reupholstered and very comfortable. All the door panels
look brand new. The carpeting is new and has no visible flaws. It
even has new seat belts in the front and rear so you can take the
whole family for a cruise safely. The original style Am-Fm has
modern internals and there's a CD changer operated by a remote.
This interior is way above average!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: No disappointments here! The engine compartment
has been totally restored to factory like specifications. It has a
327 rebuilt like 350 hp with double hump heads, factory aluminum
intake and a dual feed Holley carb. It's dressed with correct
chrome air cleaner; Chevrolet script valve covers and oil filler
tube. The block and heads have been painted Chevy Orange. All the
hoses and wires have been routed appropriately. The radiator has
been replaced as well as the fan shroud. All the fender wells and
firewall have been painted shiny black. The squirters are hooked
up, it has hood insulation, every component looks fresh. It
features power steering and brakes. Take a long look this one is
done totally right!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: This trunk is really nice. The underside of the
lid has been painted glossy and matches the body, and has
reproduction stickers. The weather stripping has been replaced. The
trunk compartment metal looks great and has been painted with a
speckle finish. It also has a nicely molded and finished carpet
that is in excellent condition. An original style jack is included.
This is a prim and proper trunk compartment!
UNDERSIDE: With a full rotisserie restoration the underside is
looking just as sweet as the top! All the steering and suspension
components including bushings, tie rod ends, hardware and even
grease fillers have been replaced. There rear suspension was
rebuilt also. The leaf springs appear to be new. The brake system
looks fresh, and the front has been upgraded to discs. The dual
exhaust is brand new and appears to be factory style with a single
muffler. The gas tank has been replaced and the hardware looks new
as well. Looking up at the motor it appears completely fresh and
clean. It has no visible leaks and has been painted Chevy Orange.
The M20 Muncie 4-speed manual trans is near spotless. The drive
shaft has been restored as well as the u-joints. 10 bolt rear end
has a posi tag on it. The floors are solid, rust-free and have been
neatly painted body color. Absolutely nothing to frown about
here!
SERVICE: This vehicle was thoroughly inspected by our shop and only
minor maintenance issues were addressed including replacing the
muffler, replaced rear brake light sockets, and replaced the spark
plugs. This car is an amazing shape and ready to cruise
anywhere!
Super nice rotisserie restoration that was done right! With less
than 1,200 mi since completion this car is sure to bring many years
of enjoyment and driving fun to its new owner!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year
membership.
