2008 Ford Mustang Saleen Sleeper GT S/C, Documented Unconverted
SALEEN Mustang with only 9k original miles, 1 of 300 cars
special-ordered by Saleen through Galpin Ford to be converted into
Dan Gurney Edition cars-- Saleen ended up only producing 68 Dan
Gurney cars instead of the planned 300 (100 Torch Red, 100
Performance White, 100 Vista Blue)-- only 21 of the planned 100
white cars were converted. Saleen later created the Saleen Sleeper
GT program to clear leftover unconverted Gurney vehicles equipped
with their Series VI superchargers. This car got their then-new
very cool (and now very rare) Supershaker Supercharger with
functional ram air making 485hp. Total Saleen Sleeper GT production
is unknown but the Saleen Owners and Enthusiasts Club (soec.org)
documents only 8 Saleen Sleeper GT S/C Coupes produced in 2008!
History confirmed by Saleen and documented with Original Window
Sticker and Deluxe Marti Report. It was sold to its first private
owner who raided the Ford Performance catalog and further upgraded
the car with: Genuine SVT GT500 wheels, Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar
Tires, Brembo Big Brake Kit, Performance Mufflers (OEM mufflers
from Bullitt), 1 inch Lowering Struts/Springs, Upgraded Stabilizer
Bars, Front/Rear Spoilers, Side Skirts, and Brushed Aluminum Gas
