I have the history of this beautiful 57 T-bird from day one off the Dealer showroom floor in Miami on March 26 1957 by OW Brown and his wife Lona. All changes of ownership (4) plus a 2 inch thick file of just about everything to know about this T-bird will go to the new owner. This includes its participation in the prestigious and world renowned annual COPPERSTATE 1000 in Arizona which has vintage automobiles from around the world participating, many over one million dollars! I have owned this car since the late 1990’s. Ownership has always stayed in South Florida. You will see this Baby Bird has lived a pampered life. This T-Bird has its original engine, a D Code 312 Cu in with 245 HP. It has been completely rebuilt to exact factory specs about 40,000 miles ago. To this day the car runs no differently than when new. During my ownership the car has been professionally maintained by just 2 classic car specialists that have, through the years, taken care of all my classic cars. This car has factory power steering (total rebuild in 2023), power brakes, and 4 way power seat. Also has factory Town and Country radio with electronics converted to Am FM stereo and CD player. Other great options include trunk mounted antenna, fender skirts, back up lights, aftermarket AC that is cold and Thunderbird wire wheels that are wrapped in wide white Radial tires. When I had the car repainted (its first and only repaint) I had it taken down to bare metal and it had never had any rust, not as much as a pinhole. Same for the floors and trunk. Was and is a 100% rust free Bird which is next to impossible to find. We drove this car from our home in North Palm Beach, FL to our Summer house in Highlands, NC 6 times during my ownership. Never a problem. We left it in our heated garage in NC for the Winter several times until we would come back the following Summer.
