Vehicle Description
This custom 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS received a full frame-off
professional restoration and was upgraded with an Art Morrison GT
Sport chassis, Strange 9-inch rear end with 3.70 gears,
triangulated 4-link, Corvette C6 spindles, Detroit Speed rack &
pinion steering and 1.125-inch sway bars. This El Camino is powered
by a Mast Motorsports LS7 427ci aluminum block featuring a Mast
custom camshaft, forged Callies rotating assembly, Mahle pistons
and Mast Black label LS7 285cc heads. It is also equipped with a
Billet Specialties Tru Trac front runner system. This engine dynos
at 635hp and is backed by a GM Performance 4L65E 4-speed automatic
transmission. Braking power is provided by a Wilwood hydro-boost
system with 6-piston Wilwood disc brakes, 13-inch Wilwood rotors
and stainless-steel brake lines front to back. This El Camino is
finished in Laurie Blue with black stripes and rides on 18-inch
Foose Shockwave wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. The black
interior presents as a clean factory-style with upgraded
horseshoe-style shifter to accommodate the Resto-Mod vibe, custom
Classic Instruments gauges, and a custom Bluetooth stereo system
featuring Rockford Fosgate amplifiers and Focal speakers throughout
the vehicle. Other upgrades include Eddie Motorsports hood hinges,
a Tanks Inc. fuel-injection tank and a custom dual-exhaust system.
