This 1967 Camaro RS/SS has some of the best features offered in the
Camaro for its introductory year. As stamped on the car's cowl tag,
this Camaro left the factory as an RS/SS (3L-RPO Z22 and 4P correct
code for an SS 350 car). A look inside reveals this car is also
equipped with the optional factory deluxe interior with a special
seat pattern and deluxe door panels with molded armrests-a set of
Autogauge gauges mounted under the dash monitor engine functions.
Finished in bright red, this incredible Camaro features a cowl
induction hood, rear spoiler, chin spoiler, and the desirable
electronically activated hideaway headlights, the most distinctive
feature of the R/S or Rally Sport Camaros. A set of polished
18-inch wheels wrapped with Nitto performance tires staggered
245/40ZR18 front and 275/40ZR18 rear give this classic just the
proper stance.
Lifting the cowl induction hood exposes a super clean and detailed
engine bay. The engine is a powerful 383 cubic inch V-8 paired with
a TCI TH400 automatic transmission with a stall converter that
delivers power to a 12-bolt rear end. The engine features aluminum
heads, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holly 4-barrel carburetor,
an aluminum radiator, MSD ignition, Chevrolet Performance valve
covers, and an air cleaner. Hooker headers flow back to dual
FlowMaster mufflers to create a deep rumble when this Camaro is
running. Drivability has been enhanced thanks to a 4-wheel power
disc brake system, tubular front control arms, subframe connectors,
and upgraded multi-leaf rear springs.
