CMC is proud to present the 1996 Corvette Grand Sport Z16
Convertible into our showroom. With only 4,752 miles from new and
being one of only 190 GS Convertibles produced, this is one rare
find.
1996 marked the final year of production for the C4 Corvette and GM
wanted to offer the best C4 for this model year. Gm Decided to
build RPO Code Z16, the Grand Sport Performance Package. Out of the
1000 Grand Sports produced, GM only produced 190 Convertibles. This
particular example is one of only 10 built optioned as such.
Powered by the LT4 350/330HP engine and backed by the ZF 6 Speed
Manual transmission, these Grand Sports were a potent combination
in 1996. With only 4,752 miles on car number 751, this car runs and
drives as it did when new.
The original Admiral Blue exterior still shines like new and
presents beautifully today. The car has one chip to mention that is
on the drivers side rear quarter panel. It has been touched up and
not very noticeable but worthy to mention. The original white
convertible top is still in great shape. This car has been in
climate controlled storage from new.
