Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to represent this
well-built 1937 Oldsmobile F37 Hotrod. The Oldsmobile F-Series was
built from the 1928 through 1938. The first generation continued
the tradition of adding a series number for each model year; F-28,
F-29, F-30 and F-31. The second generation, signified by a
completely new body style appearance was built from 1932 through
1938, all having been manufactured in Lansing, Michigan. The 1933
F-Series was introduced with an all new appearance. This particular
example still sits on the 1937 frame and utilizes '78 Pontiac
Firebird front clip and subframe and a 3rd Gen Camaro 3-Link rear
suspension. The list of replacement parts underneath the car is
extensive, and this ride was put together with driving in mind!
Powering this '37 is a 383ci V8 stroker kit by Eagle Specialties
topped off with a Holley 4-Barrel Carburetor! Power is sent to the
rear wheels through a 700R4 Automatic Transmission, Posi-Traction
10 Bolt rear end 3.90 gears. If you are in the market for a piece
of automotive history that screams cool with a modern flare, this
1937 Oldsmobile is for you!
