Vehicle Description
This custom 1969 Chevrolet Camaro received a professional
restoration by its previous owner of nearly 40 years. The body
retains all its original panels and floors. The hood was upgraded
with a fiberglass cowl hood with the correct air cleaner hole for a
Cross-Ram intake. From there it was treated to a professional,
no-expense-spared Pro-Touring build with the best in modern
technology from all the leading manufacturers. Power comes from a
GM Performance 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 engine packaged with a
4L75E 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine is fitted with a
Holley accessory drive, a custom-built aluminum radiator and fan
combo, and stainless Hooker long-tube headers with a complete
stainless X-pipe exhaust system. Power is transferred to the wheels
through a DOM heavy-duty driveshaft with billet yokes turning a
freshly built 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears, a new posi-traction
unit and Moser axles, and has been narrowed 3 inches to accommodate
the rear wheels. The stock suspension was removed, and a complete
RideTech system was installed with billet Fox coilovers at all four
corners, StrongArm tubular control arms, front and rear sway bars,
and a 4-link rear-end setup. It has power steering and stopping is
courtesy of 15-inch front and 14-inch rear Wilwood disc brakes
powered by a hydro-boost braking system. The 19-inch Forgeline
wheels are wrapped with Continental ExtremeContact tires. The
stock-looking bucket-seat interior has been upgraded with Dakota
Digital HDX series gauges, a Vintage Air system, a new console and
shifter, and a RetroSound radio with kick-panel speakers. This
fresh build was completed in December 2023, and it has been driven
950 shake-down miles since completion.
