Vehicle Description
This 1960 Chevrolet Corvette Resto-Mod is powered by a Smedding
Performance Extreme Street 383ci stroker V8 engine mated to a
Keisler Engineering TREMEC T5 5-speed manual transmission with
hydraulic clutch and Keisler Engineering components putting out
450hp and 460 ft/lbs of torque. It has Jim Meyer Racing IFS unequal
A-arm suspension, Jim Meyer Racing four-bar-mounted Currie Ford
9-inch nodular iron rear housing with 3.0:1 ratio gears, QA1 dual
adjustable coilover shocks and coil springs, and Wilwood brakes
with red powder-coated dual-piston disc brake calipers. It sports
383 front fender badges above the stock Corvette crossed flags to
indicate the new engine size. A Holley 750 dual inlet carburetor
sits on an Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum manifold, with a stock
Corvette 14x4-inch air cleaner housing and a K&N filter. It has
a Carter electric fuel pump with micron filter, Mustang II rack &
pinion steering with polished aluminum billet reservoir, HEI
ignition, DeWitts aluminum fully shrouded radiator, SPAL 16-inch
high-output electric fan, polished front runner Billet Industries
serpentine belt system, polished air-conditioning compressor and
polished aluminum Powermaster 120-amp single-wire alternator. The
exhaust consists of Jet-Hot-coated hooker equal-length headers
mated to Borla SS mufflers with all pipes and clamps, including
supports in stainless steel as well. The exhaust has been moved
from the ends of the rear bumpers to snug under the rear
crossmember, and a standard stop/tail/park light is in the bumper
in its place. The headlights have been upgraded to LED white
halogen daytime running lights that switch to yellow turn signal
lights automatically. It is finished with PPG Deltron code Coca
Cola Fleet Red, ceramic-coated, and rides on Boze 17-inch 6-spoke
polished billet wheels. The interior features an Autosound radio,
Hot Rod air conditioning and a Flaming River 17-inch leather
Corvette wheel sitting on a Flaming River steering column. The sale
includes an additional set of 17-inch GM Rally powder-coated slot
wheels with GM Corvette-style Top Hats. This custom Corvette was
