This 1949 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe is powered by a rebuilt and
upgraded 261ci inline 6-cylinder engine with period-correct
performance items such as a Clifford Performance intake and Fenton
split exhaust manifold into a dual exhaust, paired with updated
5-speed manual transmission. Modern items include dual electric
fans and an updated 12-volt wiring system. It also features updated
Mustang II-style front IFS suspension with tubular A-arms, steering
stabilizer, front disc brakes with slotted and crossed drilled
rotors, and an electric UniSteer Performance power-assisted rack &
pinion power steering system, along with aftermarket front and rear
sway bars for stability. It has a 1950s-style custom look with
modern features for safety and drivability and is finished in
Crystal Red Pearl Metallic two-stage base/clear paint over a
laser-straight body with panel gaps and fitment all color-sanded to
mirror image with custom hand pinstriping. This convertible has a
full custom Bright White interior that shows excellent, along with
a new power Bright White top, along with all restored chrome and
stainless trim. Other options include an aftermarket tilt wheel
with custom Impala steering wheel, lowered suspension, wide
whitewall tires with 1957 Cadillac hubcaps, optional fender skits,
shaved doors and trunk with electric poppers, AM radio, heater,
frenched antenna, frenched headlights and LED taillights. It has a
finished trunk area and a highly detailed engine bay, including
wiring, new chrome, weatherstripping, glass, interior, top and
