Vehicle Description
This 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor replica is the product of a 2-year
professional build by Classic Muscle Motor Company in Daytona
Beach, FL. Every nut and bolt was restored, enhanced and upgraded.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated Roush 427/546hp crate engine
with custom 8-stack electronic fuel injection mated to a TREMEC
5-speed manual transmission. The underside was rotisserie-cleaned,
detailed and painted. The original shock towers and suspension were
replaced by a Detroit Speed & Engineering Aluma-Frame front
suspension with tubular A-arms, rack & pinion power steering and
adjustable coilover shocks. The rear suspension is a 4-link
QUADRALink with Panhard bar hold, Ford 9-inch rear end with Strange
31-spline axles and third member, and Detroit Speed coilover
shocks. All suspension components are fully painted. It is equipped
with large power Baer brakes with 14-inch front rotors and 13-inch
rear rotors to handle the braking. This car rides on custom
Forgeline 18x12 rear wheels wrapped in 12-inch-wide BFGoodrich
P335/30ZR18 tires out back and 18x9 front wheels with P275/30ZR18
tires up front. The Shelby and Eleanor influences include Mustangs
to Fear molded wheel flares, decklid spoiler, upper side scoops,
fiberglass hood, functional lower side scoops to cool the brakes
and rocker panels with side-exit exhaust pipes. Also included are a
billet grille, multiple driving lights, custom hood pins and Shelby
side mirrors. Twin black racing stripes down the center contrasted
with the Pepper Gray Metallic paint job give this car the signature
Eleanor look. Out back, there's a shaved rear with molded-in
spoiler, tucked rear bumper, full-width Shelby-style taillights
with 300 rolling sequential LEDs and a rear-view camera located
where the trunk lock was formerly housed. Interior modifications
include Italian leather seats with Cobra-skin inserts, new center
and overhead consoles, Classic Instruments gauges, tilt steering
column, a Vintage Air Gen IV system and Pioneer/Hertz audio system
with touchscreen controls. This car also has full power windows,
door locks, trunk release and keyless entry. The door lock buttons
inside have been repurposed as door poppers to exit the vehicle.
Custom trunk panels conceal the battery and stereo components and
have been upholstered to match the interior. Cobra-skin valve
covers match the interior seats.
