This unbelievable 16k mile survivor 1965 Pontiac GTO stands as a
testament to its storied past and exceptional preservation.
Configured as the meanest option from the factory, it boasts the
optional 389ci 360hp Tri Power V8, coupled with a 4-speed manual
transmission, making it a formidable force on the street. Equipped
with the Royal Bobcat Kit in August 1965, this GTO is a true
rarity. Crafted for street racing, it features sound deadener and
undercoat delete, transistorized ignition, metallic HD competition
brakes, and a 3.90:1 HD Posi Axle. Cloaked in its original Reef
Turquoise exterior, untouched by paint, this GTO is a genuine time
capsule. Originally sold in the outskirts of Detroit, it was
enjoyed as intended until a hiatus during the Vietnam War. A few
more tours, and a new family parked this example for many years.
Resurrected in 2005 with the expertise of Scott Tiemann, and Colin
Comer, the car underwent meticulous detailing and an engine
rebuild. Devoid of fancy add-ons, it focuses solely on performance.
In a market where High Performance Pontiac GTOs are increasingly
scarce, this exemplary specimen promises unparalleled thrills every
time you unleash its power, leaving you grinning from ear to
ear.
