For Sale: 1959 Ford Panel Truck in Huger, South Carolina

Vehicle Description

*Truck Not Available for Delivery until April 23rd, 2024 due to contracted weddings*

Price:

  • Tap Truck by itself = $28,000 OBO
  • Optional** Truck with trailer $32,000

How I Acquired It: I purchased this truck in August 2022 and converted it into a Tap Truck. It has been used to bartend several weddings, corporate parties, and private functions. It is towed on a trailer to each venue for maintenance purposes only. No mechanical issues - runs and drives very well! The truck was owned previously by a gentlemen in Connecticut who restored most of the truck but was unable to completely finish it due to a health issue. I bought it off him and finished putting the car back together which included glass installation, along with handles and window cranks - fairly simple stuff. Reason for selling is closing the business to focus on family life. The truck is not tied to any licensing or operating agreements and is ready to start your business today!

Items that were new/added at time I purchased in August 2022: - New rims and wheels - Reupholstered vinyl bench seat - Side marker lights - New weather stripping - Frame painted - Drum brakes and front shocks replaced - Few new garages to accurately read water temp and oil pressure

Engine is a 1961 223 ci, 6 cylinder from a Galaxy and had a 4 speed mated to it. In this form, it’ll put out roughly 135 HP. Engine cranks well and runs smoothly. - Front suspension is a straight axle and the rear is a standard 9” diff with semi-elliptical springs.

  • Paint: Color is from 1959 Edsel and is “Jet Stream Blue” Minor chips and imperfections from regular use. Overall, in good condition. The top (white) is a vinyl wrap completed by a professional, local print shop.
  • Wheel cylinders replaced all around
  • Carb rebuilt September 2023
  • New fuel pump as of September 2023
  • Rust: Very minor cosmetic rust on corner of front grill. No real concerns in this regard!
  • No leaks of any kind (any oil marks on the trailer are oil leaks from my ’62 Dodge Panel)
  • Gauges work, but I wouldn’t trust the fuel gauge to be 100% accurate. Vinyl logos will be removed prior to delivery
  • Currently located in Charleston, SC with a clean Title in hand

Beer System: - Cold Break 4 tap jockey box. - 20lb Co2 and Nitrogen bottles - Premium regulators used - capable of dispensing 5 beverage over co2 and up to 2 via Nitrogen in current configuration. - Tri-fold mobile bar with tile top included and fits neatly in the truck for transport and easy set up. - All taps cleaned after each and every use!

Trailer: - 2020 Patriot Steel Deck Car Hauler - Model: 7x18SF2BRK - All of the following were replaced and new as of October 2023: Complete new rear axle, all new springs, u-bolts, brake clusters, and bearings repacked - Has a 9,500lb winch mounted in the front via a removable hitch plate. - LED lights all around and operational
