For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

This is a good looking Camaro with the features you want: big block, RS-SS, a/c and more!

EXTERIOR: I was very impressed with the body, it is straight and fits right. No rust or damage. It's a beautiful rich dark green metallic with nice highlights when the light hits it. The matte black stripes on the trunk and hood give it its own look. The vinyl top looks new. Overall, the chrome and trim is shiny and straight. The Rally Sport headlight doors s were converted to electric and work great. The lowered stance looks great sitting on new Torque Thrust wheels and performance tires. They are 17 inch in front and 18s in back.

INTERIOR: It has a deluxe interior which includes the molded door panels, comfort weave upholstery and woodgrain trim. Seats, doors, dash pad look great. Carpet is new, headliner is original with some defects. Upgraded Vintage Air control panel and a retro stereo. We installed a new deluxe wheel, seatbelts are original.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a 1969 396 motor that runs great. Upgraded with an aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carb, HEI ignition and headers. The front of the motor has billet brackets and pulleys with a serpentine belt system. Vintage Air heat and a/c system was added. It also has power steering and brakes. Upgraded aluminum radiator with a polished overflow bottle. Over clean and orderly.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's solid and clean. New trunk mat and weatherstrip.

UNDERSIDE: The front end was completely rebuilt and upgraded with Ridetech tubular control arms. Upgraded with Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brakes in front, e-brake cables are hooked up. Gas tank was replaced. New exhaust system. Looking up at the motor it is clean, I see fresh freeze plugs, new high torque starter and flywheel cover. It has a Turbo 350 automatic trans, the drive shaft was rebuilt. 12 bolt rear end. Floors appear to be solid original.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and adjusted the carb and timing, tightened the belts, repaired the dome light and headlight doors. We installed new carpet, steering wheel and hood insulation.

This Camaro has a look, I love the color, stripes and stance. Overall, a clean, nicely equipped Camaro.
