Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1949 MG
TC Roadster. The first British TC Roadster rolled off the assembly
line in 1945 shortly after the end of WWII. Fulfilling a customer
segment that was looking for a fun two-seater sports car.
Attractively built with a folding windshield, cutaway doors,
sweeping front and rear fenders, and a rear mounted spare tire.
Even though the 76.3 cubic inch four-cylinder engine only produced
54hp, the TC was proven to be a blast to drive. Just sitting behind
the wheel and shifting gears through the four-speed manual
transmission proved to be an exhilarating experience for diehard
fans. This 1949 MG TC Roadster is beautifully painted in British
Green. Accented with a beige cloth top and real "knock off" wire
wheels. The beige leather interior comes with seatbelts, wood harp
steering, and a wood dash with full instrumentation. The side
curtains are neatly tucked way behind the seat just in case you
need to keep out the elements on one of those exciting Sunday
drives. This 1949 MG TC Roadster also comes with a tonneau cover to
protect the top when folded. True to the British driving
experience, this MG TC is right hand drive.
