GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 2003 Chevrolet Corvette
Z06 for your consideration. Finished in a Black exterior with a
Black interior. Under the hood is GM's 5.7L LS6 V8 delivering 405hp
(when stock) through a 6-speed manual transmission. The current
owner of this car inherited it from the original owner who was a
family member. This example is in excellent condition and shows
very well. Vehicle comes with its books and original window
sticker.
Starting with the 2002 model year, power was increased to 405 hp at
6000 rpm and 400 lb-ft of torque at 4800 rpm, due to a larger CFM
air intake, stiffer valve springs, lighter sodium filled valves and
more aggressive camshaft lift and timing. The new components added
to the Z06 included: uprated FE4 suspension, larger wheels and
tires, revised gearing ratios, and functional brake cooling ducts.
The Z06 is 38 lb lighter than a standard C5 hardtop thanks to
weight-saving measures such as a titanium exhaust, thinner glass,
lighter wheels, non-EMT tires, reduced soundproofing, fixed rear
radio aerial, and a lighter battery.
